Hetzner blocked all my IPv6 subnets out of nowhere, claiming I was using an address not in my range; an address not assigned to any adapters on my system and that doesn't show up via a tcpdump.

Thankfully it's only IPv6. IPv4 still works, although I wish I had gotten some fucking warning. I sent back an e-mail showing all my adapters and requesting clarification. I think it's a mistake. Still haven't heard back. 😡

@mur2501 @djsumdog Hmm.. That is weird..!

How can you even "use" an IPv6 when not assigned? :flan_laugh:

@stux @mur2501 And even if they did see an IPv6 address coming from that machine that shouldn't, shouldn't that be blocked by firewalls/routing rules and they just warn me of a potential problem, instead of shutting down IPv6 entirely.

I've been running a TCP dump on my host for the IP they mention and nothing has come up for over an hour.

I really need to look into building a full backup standby.
