That's a bit misleading since the Bible contains the Old Testament as well.
If the author wanted an apples-to-apples comparison, she should have compared the Quran to the New Testament (the text specific to Muslims Vs the text specific to Christians) or the Quran+Hadith+Bible to the Bible (the entirety of the Muslim corpus Vs the entirety of the Christian corpus).
