There is a bit of a saga with the bed. We got a divan two piece base, King size Mattress and a five foot square headboard.
We live in a small cottage with a door at the bottom of the stairs. Neither me or the boss gave any thought to the size of the hole everything had to go through. !!!!!
The divans were two piece and easy. Mattress, forced a bend in it, Wife pulled and I pushed. Got it stuck, Wife upstairs, Me down.
She complained when I said " I am off to the pub "
