Bro I’ll never understand people caring so much about what people think about their social media posts and whatnot

Like bro don’t think about it too much just post and people will probably like you well enough

I think people want acceptance, I guess? That’s natural ngl.

But when people grow up on social media rather than in the real world, their interactions are muddied, diluted and truncated. So they get a distorted view of what people think about them, even. They get meaningless stats like “followers” and whatnot lol

In real life people wanna be accepted too. But I think for people who grew up in social media world, it’s not super easy to just be your authentic self. Or even someone fake.

modern generations are only in following woke moments blindly and looking cool.

@mur2501 Well right, because mainstream internet culture is so dang political and polarizing that you need to bow to the mob if you want to be accepted

@realcaseyrollins
just had a fight with a friend here yesterday about the N-word. I just wanted to tell her that outside of the American continent and west the word doesn't have any historical and emotional feeling attached to it. Young generation of India as well as the other third world has picked it up from hollywood and American internet culture :blobcatgoogly:
