Have a couple of 🥩chuck roasts in the smoker.
🌽 Corn set to be smoked, and some brats..
Got some 4-year-old kielbasa that'll be sharing the cats also.
Still clearing things out from the freezer and cupboards...😞

No.
Mama cat is pretty gray with hints of brown. Astro the older white and gray one is about a year old. The smaller white and gray one and mostly gray with white toes are the kittens. Comet and Tux.
4 outside cats, 1 inside and out, and 1 inside only.
6 flipping cats.
The kittens and the mama cat need to get fixed.

staring at the kitchen window waiting for me to throw out some soft food. I think she's got a couple of bad teeth. But she's very snarly.
gNibbles inside only, 13 year old cat.
She's not cuddly but she hangs out and likes to have her chin rubbed sitting next to the chair. She's always enjoyed a social distance.

Only 1 of them sits on my lap. - I'm hoping that one of the kittens takes a real liking to me also.
There are a couple, including my 13 year old that want ear rubs, and aren't really scaredy cats, but like their feet planted on the ground. LOL.

Yea, the Momma cat used to hang out at my mother-in-laws place down the street, but Mom-in-Law moved, and I had already begun to make my back yard a cat friendly place.
Yea, I think it was around Aug 2020 that I sat in the back yard giving Chinny treats while sitting in a chair. He hopped up on my lap within a day or so, and gave me chin rubs, and purring loudly. It wasn't until winter that I tried to get him to come inside.
I took my time trying to get Chinny in the house as I wasn't sure how my wife, and inside cat were going to react. - My wife had been in and out of the hospitals, for a bit, so I wasn't sure how to juggle things. - Long story short, this Black and White critter has helped my sanity when dealing with life and the loss of my wife.

A Cup of coffee with my feet 3 feet away from their food first thing in the morning seems to be working.
Even the Snarly Momma cat came fairly close to me. - Her hunger outweighs her fear.
IF I have time in the morning, I'll continue to do so, even on days that I work.
I can't find LARGE cans of cheap cat food, so sometimes I get dogfood, but they tend to prefer the cat food.
But yea, meaty food 1st thing in the morning seems to be a thing around here.
