This behavior translates poorly to their humans when they are human imprinted. Humans are way bigger than a pigeon and we don't speak pigeon so when a male is attracted to humans he feels like he has to try extra hard to impress you, his potential mate.
In normal pigeon social groups males will drive and show off for their potential mates to show that they can father children who are stronger than their potential mate. If he can't show his mate that he is strong why would they mate bond to him and possibly have children? If the female pigeon has children who are weaker than her then they are more likely to be caught by a predator and she would have wasted resources raising their children.
Also a little more infos on pigeons :
Human imprinted male pigeons don't know boundaries or how to properly communicate as a pigeon.
He doesn't hate whatever or whoever he is attacking he is driving and trying to show off. He is probably sexually attracted to them.

Now I don't much know why we honk so much but it's just very normal for here, we maybe just talk through our horns. Also the population density is very high as well as the number of two wheelers which are the main honkers probably.
Mumbai Police did a fun little experiment where they fitted sensors in some traffic lights which would increase the duration of the red light by 10 seconds the moments it detects an useless honk. Drivers had to wait 30 minites at the traffic light till they learnt it ![]()
@thor
Hence I kept playing for days till I died as the people of Mumbai were too used to honking and all the noises around that they never mind any sound ![]()
@Defectivetrxgedy
Actually there is no technical or scientific difference between pigeon and doves. It's just British used Doves to refer to smaller and possibly more beautiful pigeons (white pigeons usually) while the ugly ones remained pigeon ![]()
