if you can't write an optimal algorithm, write a suboptimal one that runs in GPU, problem solved
@AmpBenzScientist I wouldn't know, but in general I blame proprietary software for death of new interesting hardware architectures. I blame proprietary software for everything come to think of it.
@namark RISC-V has outperformed Apple's M1 processor with greater efficiency. RISC-V is the future.
@namark GPUI could be usefull for heavy parallel calculations if it was open source. but the whole stack isn't. at least for any enough powerful GPU. so I never got into this much. until full-stack open source is supported there's no interest.
@namark Isn't this the same ineptitude that made the Xeon Phi almost irrelevant?
