We've just spent some time in the garden watching our local bat fly around the houses. It's still a bit early in the year for them to be super active but they bring us so much joy. Here's some video from a few weeks later than this a couple of years ago when our bat was performing laps in the garden and flapping close enough to our faces to feel the wind from his wings.

@neonbubble I have bat envy. We don’t have enough trees around our garden to encourage them, and end up having to pop to a local lake or country park to make breaking out the bat detector worthwhile (it totally is though).
