According to (online) newspapers, right wing politicians seem to have only two expressions: “disturbingly self-satisfied at being a top fascist doing fascisty things”, or “ripped dap that would murder you as soon as piss on you”.
“Face like a ripped dap” may also be doing double duty by showing my age and where I spent my formative years.
Occasionally these expressions are exactly the same thing.
