@Pat Exactly. The ideal scenario is using all our tools at once, all the time. Ventilate, mask with proper masks worn properly, distance, etc., and masks are a key part of this.
Also vaccines for most folks.

It's virtually impossible to make the air safe in a room occupied by unmasked, infected individuals using ventilation and room air filtration alone.
Also, cloth masks or surgical masks do not provide adequate protection, you need to wear a NIOSH-approved respirator.
