If you could have a piece of art by any one artist, to keep in your home (so not for the monetary value), who would you chose?
For me I'd take Joan Miro every time.

@bykimbo When I was a kid, I can still remember seeing this painting at my Papa's (mother's father) house. Then, after his passing, at my mother's house. Now it's at my mother's newer house. I have always been obsessed with it and after she passes she's made it clear it will go to me. It's the only piece of Art that I have wanted to "own". My Papa got it from his aunt, she bought it on a trip to France. I once tried to find the artist, but with conflicting results. It's signed Pauiin '42. Can't find a good photo of it, but my wife had one with it in the background.
@obi what a great story. I'm rather jealous that you will get.to own your favourite picture. I hope it's a long way off yet though
