@othermaciej I think the idea is that they won’t let 100k people buy a $20 ticket for a film when $0 of that goes to the filmmakers- so they make an agreement that only 10k can see it or something. But still- total bullshit to not reserve those award shows for a pass that buys you only 4 award films over 2 days.
