About halfway through the #ungrading book. It makes a very compelling case that grades are bad, but I still have two big concerns:

Having a good experience and growing as an individual are great, but what about being able to solve problems in the field? I don't want the heart surgeon who's read Virginia Woolf; I want the one who knows which valve is which and how to repair them!

I know from experience that, if it's not worth points, almost no students will do it. Maybe that changes if nothing is worth points? Maybe?
I hope the STEM authors to come will address these questions.
