Our last 2000 piece jigsaw puzzle had two extra pieces.
This one was missing a piece.
Based on this sample (n = 2), the average puzzle has 0.5 extra pieces.
Plugging it into an online calculator, I get a 95% confidence interval of 1997.560 – 2003.440.
