I tried Cultist Simulator and it seems unplayable. I'm combining cards essentially at random, with no real sense of whether I'm making any progress, then I die without warning. The "tutorial" was useless.
@peterdrake I've never been able to get very far in that game either, even though I now all of the DLCs thanks to one of the bundles, heh.
Maybe I should try it out again sometime. I kind of understand what they're going for but... I think the game Underhand (available on Play store, not sure of elsewhere) is doing a better job of that general atmosphere?
@jalefkowit points out that the designer of Cultist Simulator is, as they say, "problematic".
Underhand looks prettier and clearer, but from this video, too choose-your-own-adventure for my tastes.

I'm interested in any other #Android game recs! I'm in no way committed to the cultist theme.
@peterdrake @jalefkowit Card Crawl is a nice tactical card game on Android. Art is very stylish.
To finish a game alive might be easy enough, but to get a lot of gold out of it is harder.
@trinsec @jalefkowit That's the second rec I've seen on here for Card Crawl, so maybe I'll try that one next.
