#ArtAdventCalendar day 13. As a PhD student, my research involved analyzing video. I was then faced with the challenge of portraying movement, and focusing on particular aspects, on paper. I decided to embrace my artistic side and illustrate examples. Here is one of the figures I drew from my thesis - it shows someone using gestures to emphasize their points (the gesture’s stroke or hold occurs with the spoken word in bold). Quite a learning experience! #Multimodal
