Since returning here, I find myself struggling w/ how many hashtags to use. I think searchability is vital. An unsearchable site is a library without a card catalog. And without #s, Masto is completely unsearchable.

But as a reader, a #tag in the middle of a post feels like someone handing out business cards in the middle of a conversation. And a pile of tags at the end of a post feels like the list of required warnings at the end of an ad for a prescription drug. How are y’all handling this?
