I do like the experience of a gas stove.
People like fire, its an evolution thing.
But... It's never made enough difference for me to do anything to ensure I have one instead of electric. I bet that's true for most people who aren't pro chefs. Nobody really cared until Fucker Carlson made up shit that Biden is coming for your stove. He's not. They're not coming for your anything.
I'm sure stove makers will take advantage of this culture war for money though!
