@lowqualityfacts well, King Henry VIII was called Prince Hal, so it has a Regal precedent... #HarryOrHenry
@Josordoni @lowqualityfacts Wasn't hat Henry V?
@peterdrake @lowqualityfacts from what I can find, all Henrys have been called Harry in their youth and some Hal (apparently little Prince Henry, the son of HenryVIII and Catherine of Aragon who died, was called Prince Hal). Henry V, Harry Hotspur, was Prince Hal in Shakespeare Henry IV as you say.
@Josordoni @peterdrake @lowqualityfacts
Erm, no. Hotspur was Henry Percy, son of the Duke of Northumberland, who is contrasted with the King's son Prince Hal/Henry Prince of Wales/future Henry V. If I remember right, Hal kills the rebellious Hotspur in battle.
Both young Henrys are also called Harry.
@regordane @Josordoni @lowqualityfacts ... and later, to continue the alliteration, the fictional Horatio Hornblower commands HMS Hotspur.
@Josordoni @regordane @lowqualityfacts Can you huff ham?
@peterdrake @regordane @lowqualityfacts
If Harry huffs ham, he'll harm himself!
