@lucifargundam @hackernews@die-partei.social I saw a local story earlier that two stores were closing, but didn't follow it closely. I have been in a Walmart once in the last 25 years. The newish store in the suburb of Tigard remains open.

I'm dubious of the narrative here. Portland is not, as the National Review would have people believe, a smoldering, lawless wasteland. Oh, and our police haven't been defunded -- their funding has increased.
