@wtwagg I don't believe that's true. I pay for streaming services primarily so that I don't have to have ads, not because I want new features. I'm not paying for them to add random new "features" that I never asked for. I'm paying for access to their libraries of content, not for intrusive features that I can't turn off which change the streaming experience I thought I was paying for.

If the goal is to retain people that constantly crave new features, those new features should be opt-in by default so that those of us who are paying for things to stay the same can keep things the way we like them.
