@grammargirl One of the characters in my #ttrpg campaign is a self-described Space Karen. When their starship was attacked by Patriarchy drone craft, she demanded to speak with their supervisor.
Sure, I'll step into the #FediGiftShop:
My card game about #Samoan #fireknife dancing was developed in consultation with professionals, features artwork by Samoan artist Troy Safotu, and has card text in Samoan and English. (The rules are in English.)

@pesh @objectinspace Instance doesn't matter so much, but hashtags will help you find others interested in similar topics.
Related fun fact: the Association of Oregon Rail and Transit Advocates has the fabulous acronym AORTA.
@freemo It's an interesting topic for discussion. @godlessmon@mas.to may be a good one to make the case that online radicalization is a very real (and very dangerous) thing.
Empirically, is it true that it tends to only work in one direction? If so, why? Is it the nature of the Twitter / Facebook / YouTube outrage machine serving ever-more-extreme content in the name of "engagement"? Does it have to do with funding from extremist groups or, say, foreign actors trying to encourage polarization? What can we do to "counter-radicalize" people toward kindness and compassion?
I don't think propaganda instantly changes minds, but I also don't think it has no effect. Prolonged exposure shifts the Overton window.

@jakeduhjake Prius Prime. It's by no means an off-road vehicle, but at least it has good anti-skid / anti-lock tech.
Automotive troubles
BAD NEWS: The hybrid car won't start. It says the 12-volt battery is low.
GOOD NEWS: It was in the garage when this happened, so at least I'm not stranded anywhere.
GOOD NEWS: We temporarily have a backup car. Maybe we can use that to jump the hybrid.
BAD NEWS: The jumper cables aren't long enough to connect the cars where the hybrid is parked.
GOOD NEWS: We're young enough that we might be able to push it into the driveway.
BAD NEWS: The hybrid refuses to shift into neutral when the 12v battery is low, so it can't be moved.
GOOD NEWS: We were able to buy a jump starter pack.
BAD NEWS: It has to be charged from wall power for 24 hours before use.
GOOD NEWS: We're not in a huge hurry.
BAD NEWS: It might snow later this week. The backup car is not nearly as good for driving in snow.
The title of this thread is called "Angry Black Women".
On January 20, 2017 this picture was my Facebook avatar. It is Michelle Obama at the inauguration of the 45th president. About a month later, a white female person I know texted me "Can you change your avatar photo, now." Which I did. The following is a selection of the Angry Black Women avatars I used since. These Angry Black Women changed out lives for the better.

@treyhunner I haven't used it explicitly, but [the initializer for] the csv package's DictReader class used to return OrderedDicts. It looks like that changed in 3.8:
