We've signed up to run some games at GameStorm!
Overheard: "We're gonna die because I don't wanna cook and I hate eating food!"
@inthehands I don't about KataGo, but AlphaGo's stronger descendants were NOT trained on human games -- they were merely given the rules and told to play against themselves. I would be very curious to know if this exploit works against them.
@PythonMorsels You made me look it up!
The first one confused me until I realized that it's not a letter V, but character 8548.
@deinol If you want some comedy, Star Trek Lower Decks has a lot of fun with the franchise. It's Futurama quality.
Getting even farther afield, I've been enjoying the audiobooks of Bujold's Miles Vorkosigan series. Both the writing and Grover Gardner's narration are outstanding. Huge Traveller vibe.
Idea: a character who uses a large snake as a rope dart.

Your periodic reminder that the concept of #carbon #footprint was literally invented by BP to divert attention away from corporate emissions: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Carbon_footprint
And because humans (/techbros) have never met a simplistic solution they did not love, not matter how wrong… we are now saddled with a billion apps to help you, brave consumer, curb your personal carbon footprint.
If you want to effectively fight #climatechange, support grassroots lobbying for stricter regulations.
Got 2 de Mayo to the table. Reading 2 as "dos", I'm counting that as a D game.
@smartgo @josephholsten @blacklight Do these techniques work against other strong bots?
@blacklight Does anyone have more information on this? The last headline like this seemed to center on the cheap trick of passing early and then insisting, during scoring, that your dead stones were alive.

PORTLAND CITY LEADERS: Please can we not have a massive earthquake-induced oil catastrophe?
OIL INDUSTRY: Fuck you, Portland.
PORTLAND: Sorry! Sorry. But, sorry, maybe we'll just make this tiny change. It won't prevent a catastrophe! Just a tiny change.
MONTANA, BARGING THROUGH THE DOOR: Don't worry, Oil Industry, I'll handle this!
Apparently this element was later renamed hassium, which is sort of the opposite of unobtanium.
I'm sure many pet owners know how this goes: #DogsOfMastodon #CatsOfMastodon https://mutts.com/products/strip-021723
