@Adventurer Five, in fact!
@freemo @mandaroza @trinsec Where are these lists (and instructions for importing them) provided? I don't see them at
If it's up to qoto users to protect themselves (in whatever way they see fit), the tools for doing so should be very easy to find. It might also reassure the admins of other servers.
Finished Warhammer 40,000: Inquisitor - Martyr. It did what it was supposed to do. Points for letting you play the way you want -- just walk down the main path (as I did) or do lots of side quests, get into crafting or ignore that system. The UI was not annoying which is high praise. The art evoked a rich world, but the "clue" documents didn't really tell a consistent story.
@trinsec I would think so, but I believe they stay like this for a while before emerging further. Perhaps these are the periscopes to detect when spring is here?

This excellent introductory juggling video implicitly notes a counterintuitive phenomenon that I discovered when learning to toss Samoan fireknives: it's easier to catch if you toss *higher*, because you have more time to observe the trajectory.
@rudytheelder Uh… oh. Hmm.
Let me introduce you to: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=bAdqazixuRY (CW: absolutely boss music… played by SCADA-controlled robots trained to perform.)
Sure, there's some digital compositing during shots that would be physically dangerous (i.e. stepping between them as they play), but still. By Remus.
The BTS is quite interesting. As is the rest of this genius' work. (❤️ Cymatics)
@ginnyhogan Could he have been a hired assassin who incorrectly believed you have a deathly allergy to peanuts?
Finished reading Burkov, The Hundred-Page Machine Learning Book.
The book covers a lot of material at a perhaps problematic level of concision. It uses equations where other authors would use diagrams. It's quite good for review, but if you haven't encountered a topic before, you probably won't be able to follow the author's explanation. This could be useful as a textbook for a course where the instructor provides the necessary scaffolding to follow the text.
@dr_tj For good or ill, Python will only give you year += 1.

@boardgamebreakdown We like it. It's probably better than Terraforming Mars. Lots of moving parts, but we felt like we knew what we were doing by the end of the game. The "personal rondel" of action cards is clever. The hand limit, even when expanded to 5, feels very tight; I often thought, "I want to play all of these cards rather than drawing more."
In my initial draw, I got the Ornithologist card, which features a photo of @Elizhargrave. I came in 3rd (of 4 players), but I did manage to fill my entire board and make a couple of power moves. In a big game like this, it's important that every player gets to see some clever plans come together.
