We played Votes for Women for the first time tonight. @peterdrake needed only 3 more Xs going into the final vote and applied some Voter Suppression for an easy victory.

I think I sent the amendment to the states one or two cards too late and lost 6-8 easy, early wins in the Plains as a result. This is clearly going to be a game where timing is everything.

I very much prefer it to Twilight Struggle because it's a bit simpler and shorter.

No, seriously. Lots of kids LOVE #trains and #dams and stuff just as much as other kids love athletes or Japanese cartoons or whatever. The world is full of fabulous, pro-city, pro-#sustainability accomplishments that we should teach kids about. Who wouldn’t love to open a pack and find this Dutch thing (from @BrentToderian ) staring back at them?

@peterdrake didn't trouce me as badly as we first thought in this morning's game of Above and Below (58 vs. 51). Especially if you consider my final villager count of 4 vs. his crowd of 9.

I was very pleased by the narrative and aesthetic coherence of my final village. The replenishing fish source below fed our fish stew restaurant above with a late mushroom discovery for added flavor.

I love how the ground flows seamlessly across the cards when you line them up.
