@cheribaker Can/should I unmount the Linux drive from Windows, so Windows doesn't even know it's there?
@cheribaker Is there no way to tell Windows that this is not a place of honor?
One concern: does Windows still believe it owns both drives? How do I know it won't ever write there?

Huh. The first thing on the Ubuntu website is a popup asking you to accept trackers.
Workaround: take a series of screenshots and print those.

I'd like to print out all of my system specs on physical paper. In Windows 11, I can get some basic specs under System > About or by using systeminfo on the command line, but neither of these includes details like my graphics card. I can get this information from the Device Manager, but I don't see any way to either print it or paste it into another document. Any ideas?

just watched a video about the lack of bicycles in hollywood productions. e.g. there are post apocalypse shows where there's no fuel or they can't use engines for other reasons, and the characters are shown walking or riding a horse. they never try bikes even though it's the most popular mode of transportation on the planet. Daryl from TWD on a bicycle? uncool. if a protagonist is doing it, it's a comedy. riding a bicycle is seen as a ridiculous thing to do unless you're a child. I am stunned.
@kandersonus Interesting. Finding the things you need to get clean water and then set up a sanitation system are the main quests of the game, so exploring (talking to NPCs) to find them is the bulk of the experience.
You can go back to talk with Frank, but going back into your home is always fatal. This is meant to be a lesson about avoiding unsafe buildings; since there are no other buildings to enter in the game, your home is always unsafe once you escape.
I'm glad the Portland setting stood out.
