I finished episode 2 of @IntoTheLongDark@twitter.com, which appears to be all the story that exists so far. I found it more satisfying than Subnautica or Astroneer.
If you have a @unity3@twitter.com GameObject obj, then obj.transform is [another reference to] the Transform object. Within that, though, position is a struct property, so obj.transform.position gets you a COPY of the position. You must modify your copy, then obj.transform.position = copy.

Unlike the Democratic Congresswomen @realDonaldTrump@twitter.com attacked today, I actually am a foreign-born Member of Congress. But I’m a white male of European descent, so there’s no chance he’ll attack me.
His tantrum has nothing to do with birthplace.
It appears that @unity3d@twitter.com and @Microsoft@twitter.com C# documentation *disagree* on whether property names should be capitalized. Very confusingly, you might end up using both conventions in the same line of code!

You know you’re a real academic when your phone autocorrects “f*** it all” to “f*** et al” #AcademicChatter
Well that's just asking for trouble.
Learning to use the @github@twitter.com issue tracker. Our repo has issues like "Explosion can happen during conversation" and "Properly report cause of death".
Two small wins for C# over Java: strings are iterable and you can use % with floats (modulo rounding error).

"If we see ‘lines of code’ as ‘lines spent’, then when we delete lines of code, we are lowering the cost of maintenance." – Thomas (tef) Figg
C# treats strings as primitive, e.g., they can be cases in switch statements. This, combined with the fact that == can be overloaded, seems like it will make it difficult to know when comparisons are by value vs by reference. Java seems more consistent, if less concise.
Apparently the new live-action Mulan will not feature songs like "I'll Make a Man out of You", but I've got you covered. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=aE94ypIlmQg
