What should be our last movie night for ? Opening the bidding at Romancing the Stone.

Funny, when there's a plan to raise the minimum wage to $15 an hour, big businesses say "we''ll have no choice but to raise prices."

But when they got $1.9 trillion in corporate tax breaks, not one big business said "good news! we're able to lower prices."

In 1986 Michael Foot MP was made the chair of a disarmament committee. The Times headline ran: ‘Foot Heads Arms Body’

People keep referring to the attempted coup as a "siege", which is inaccurate. The terrorists didn't surround the Capitol and cut off supplies; they stormed the place.

Skylab was incredible. Imagine what the ISS would be like if it were made up of a few Skylab-sized modules. Just one Skylab had almost as much total volume as the entire habitable (but not total pressurized) volume of the ISS. twitter.com/UniverCurious/stat
