Well, we watched that.

In shocking news, it was revealed *this month* that a sequel is in production.

WHY IS THIS A GOOD THING? is not a competition.

Panic-ordering textbooks under the absurd delusion that I can absorb them in time to prepare my fall classes.

: We don't need all the boilerplate code and punctuation that Java requires.

Sometimes I want to search for games, e.g., the best (or even most popular) multiplayer Android games. Where can I find reasonable articles on things like this? Google turns up pages of garbage listicles that just vaguely summarize the game marketing copy while showering the reader with animated ads.

Yes, Manchin did us dirty, but he didn't do it single-handedly. Stories like this take it for granted that *all* of the Republicans will *always* vote for evil; reasoning with them is not even worth considering.

Rupert Murdoch's WSJ: That 10-year-old rape victim Biden mentioned? No evidence she exists.

(We're still waiting on the receipts for the "stolen" election, which not even Trump's own bogus auditors could find.)

Ideologues of all stripes: "The pandemic has made it clear to everyone that I was right all along: we need more/less unions, taxes, guns, police, religion, poetry, regulation, mass transit, nuclear power, open-source software, capybara-themed throw pillows ..."

Yup, that did the trick!

A colleague in the department is looking for for accepting art submissions. Does anyone know of an existing, easy-to-use solution?

They say:

"There are numerous art submission programs that exist, often used when there is an open call for proposals or even in the art department at LC, we use it when we're hiring for tenure-track positions. But they're unbelievably expensive for small non-profit arts organizations to use. Some organizations just build their own software for artist submissions but many obviously don't even have the capacity for that. The software generally allows people to submit up to a certain amount of images, video files and then also writing and other application information. The most common one might be something like SlideRoom."

It's about time to start planning my (or, if the landscape becomes too crispy, glow) for the New Student Orientation show. Thinking about using the music from this glorious number from RRR:

My choreography would be a lot less leg and a lot more fire.
