I don't enjoy war games. Everyone I play with has far more experience than me and I am an unlucky dice roller. BattleLore, however, is tolerable. The zoned card play limits my opponent enough to give me a fighting chance.

Today I played the Blackened Skies army which is loaded with archers. It confirmed my opinion that archers suck. In my power round, with Double Shot and Enchanted Arrows giving me THREE attacks per unit instead of one, I rolled 2 hits on 18 dice. 🤬

I'm amazed that the #ttrpg community was able to convince Wizards of the Coast to reverse course on their disastrous licensing changes. I hope all this hullabaloo informs WotC's decisions on 6th edition, and that they make 6E open and accessible. There are so many avenues for WotC to be a successful, profitable company by embracing 3rd party publishers rather than locking them out.

@gruber One of the big arguments being made by State Dept in favor of switching to Calibri is that it is somehow more readable by screen readers, which is total BS because screen readers don’t care about the typeface. Seems they’re confusing it with OCR, which should not be necessary if they’re distributing documents in accessible formats anyway.
