Finally getting rid of our Monopoly set. We're never going to play it, it takes up too much space (in an awkward form factor), and we no longer have to worry about non-gaming relatives buying us one.

It wouldn't be G fortnight without some Go! I (white) got spanked, but it was a thrilling game. AI Sensei says we each made a 40-point blunder.

#Violet is happy we're home, especially since there was a break in the rain for a walk.

Fast & Furious: Highway Heist was the perfect way to close out our F weeks.

Playing as Roman in the Tank Assault, I twice leapt onto enemy SUVs and steered them into the tank. When my own car was pummeled sufficiently, we also threw it under for more damage.

@peterdrake is fond of saying that this game is better than it has any right to be. He is so right! I am usually lukewarm on expansions, but I really wish this had some.

You know, everybody needs to learn sign language. It'll be a lot harder to deepfake that. 😋

We need a few more followers over here on Mastodon or it's going to be hard to argue against going back to the bird site. Can you help by boosting us to your friends and recommending that they might want to check out the fiercest little (aboveground) conservation group working in the western US?

Mandala has become one of my favorite two-player games. It reminds me of Lost Cities, but harder, meaner, and faster.

In today’s games, @peterdrake and I traded lopsided trouncings.

Hot take: the best is the one that puts the largest number of vehicles on the track.

So ... which one is it?

Idea: a themed restaurant where the "your order is ready" pager looks like a thermal detonator.

We kicked off Friday at #GameStorm with some 4-player Flamme Rouge.

This is hands down my favorite racing game. It’s fast-paced, with everyone fully engaged at every moment, and the hills make for some deliciously agonizing deck management.

It took me a long time to learn, but you must not fear exhaustion! Exhaustion is proof that you’re racing to win!

Had a fabulous 9-player game of Formula Dé on the Portland circuit. Later, I was in first place coming out of the final turn when my car disintegrated.
