New York Zoo is heavier than all those cute animeeples make it look. It took quite a few plays for me to wrap my head around the rules for breeding and moving animals around, perhaps because they slightly differ depending on the number of players, but I think we're finally playing correctly.

Tonight's game was a nail-biter as I beat @peterdrake to victory by a single square.

@nikluz and I have come up with a decent game idea for the Summer #FediverseJam, but still have no dedicated #artists working with us. Also, we could do the #music and #sfx ourselves, but would rather have someone dedicated to those as well, so we can focus on programming a rad game.

For art, we've conceptualized the game in a 3/4 projection, so we'd prefer that art style BUT a top-down perspective would work.

I'll also add that this concept has high potential for some very cool #puzzle implementations. If you're someone who likes to create puzzles then this might be an interesting project for you.
