The Banshees of Inisherin - spoiler
I haven't seen much written about this film so far. While it was engaging enough and had some good performances the whole cutting fingers off, apparently without much inconvenience or pain afterwards, was daft. And whilst building up to a crescendo finished on a fart. I left the cinema wondering how else I might have spent 2 hours.
Interested in what others thought.

@dup_online I felt the same. Generally enjoyed the movie but I think some of that was because I am familiar with the locations on Achill Island. A little bit underwhelmed by it tbh.

@johnmee @dup_online I agree. I found it very weird. It's no wonder they cleared the islands in the '70s while they had any fingers left....
