@bagpie @r_mccormack Westport is one little town that I've always thought I'd like to live in but never quite managed it.

@r_mccormack We were in Donegal in September. But similar memories of Mayo and West Cork. A meal in a bowl!

The Banshees of Inisherin - spoiler

@johnmee @dup_online I agree. I found it very weird. It's no wonder they cleared the islands in the '70s while they had any fingers left....

@r_mccormack take a trip to the "Wild Atlantic Way" (which you probably have with ) of the west of Ireland and almost every pub you come across will do at lunchtime with Irish wholemeal soda bread and butter and often with chunks of fish you nearly need a knife and fork for. Sublime.

@SadhbhOS I guess you must get an extra buailte/h when addressed in Irish? "A Shadhbh". That gives me a headache 😱

@SadhbhOS I went on Saturday. A bit of a strange film. It's no wonder they cleared the island populations in the 70's before they all killed each other! 😱

I went to watch the Banshees of Inisherin this week. What an amazing, funny, and poignant film. Brendan Gleeson and Colin Farrell are so good together.

@SadhbhOS I have a friend who used to get monthly migraines at a certain time in her cycle.

@SadhbhOS Love your name. "Sweet and good". Although you must suffer like the Tadhg's of this world when non-Irish try to pronounce it 😉

@kityates The Tories actually want the NHS to die. Ever since it was started by Labour in 1948. But thr thick-as-mince keep voting Tory so it will continue to die and the Tories rich mates will simply get richer..

@burgoonster he's only interested in as many blue tick subscriptions as he can get and not in people or morality.
