Arctic front blasting into Texas is visible from air and space
(I mentioned once that during that big cold snap in Texas, a year or so ago, where so much of their electrical grid went down, and it was snowing where it rarely does, on Instagram etc a surprising number of Texans were insisting that the snowflakes were "faked by liberals to make us scared about climate change". They tried to prove in videos it was fake snow. They weren't trolling or kidding.)

@JulieCohen You don't have time to make the fake snow? Here we have a giant fake-snow-making machine about the size of The Empire State Building and the Statue of Liberty combined. Or maybe we're dropping it from orbit, I don't know. I'll have to ask the Texans.

@JulieCohen @JohnShirley2023 There's probably more gold and other precious ores in one or two of the smallest asteroids than has ever been mined on Earth. If I were a member of a group that had a foothold in space I wouldn't be mucking around with lasers because I'd too busy getting rich enough to buy the planet.
