@harphat
What I'm seeing is that there must logically be a Goldilocks zone on Mercury.

@warren__terra @harphat Mercury does rotate relative to the sun, if, slowly, so if there's a goldilocks ring near the terminator, you'd have to keep moving to stay within it. (About 11kph at the equator; more slowly the further you are from it.)

@pieist @warren__terra @harphat hmmmm is there really a “goldilock” zone there. Without atmosphere moderating heat transfer, wouldn’t you have super-freeze in shadow and insta boil just outside if it. The time a rock would be in the “nice zone” after rotating out of the sun must be counted in minutes, wouldn’t it? Or do I think wrong here….
