Particles made of WHAT? Wouldn't that be just more pollution?
Remember the sf novel RINGWORLD? In it artificial night was created by having rotating panels that blocked the sun at times, from orbit.

@JohnShirley2023 Yes, let's reduce solar intensity just when we're trying to transition to renewables like solar energy, and oh yes, grow food for 8+ billion people as well as enable what's left of our forests to sequester some of that carbon. F'ing brilliant.

@JohnShirley2023 When you scroll through to the various other topics you notice a lot of seemingly neutral stuff about green energy... but they always seem to find a way to cast doubt in the last paragraph. Funny how that works, eh?
