@ct_bergstrom not that I have one or know what it’s like to have one, but do people who do really read that and think oh no!!? 😂 I feel like people follow people with blue check marks for their writing and content & Twitter doesn’t believe that or something.

@mlwoods @ct_bergstrom For those who remain I suspect their only concern is whether the impersonation concerns in giving it up are worth worrying about.

As far as I can see it's so chaotic that if you're still there you just see what comes day by day and don't try to game it by, y'know, imagining that anything that's said is true or will remain so.

@pieist @ct_bergstrom but again that’s easy to solve if you have two factor authentication with another company or workplace & can list your accounts. I agree if your only base is Twitter, then that could be a problem, but the CEO has made jokes about women’s dress size, so I wouldn’t respect anyone if that was their platform of choice. Impersonation and manipulation are rife online. It’s a problem I agree.

@pieist @ct_bergstrom & I don’t mean literal two factor authentication, just a known trusted site with clear links to other sites (like Twitter) with the official account listed.
