This is a big problem in the US. Once bought some "Asiago" made in Wisconsin. If Italy ever finds out about this garbage we'll be grateful not to be signatories to the ICC
@pieist from my (admittedly limited) experience of the US of A, I think you could reasonably substitute 'Cheese' in that sentence for 'Asiago'.
