I know it’s a crude metaphor, but I often wonder how Reagan would react seeing this version of the Republican Party strapping on their kneepads for a Russian autocrat gleefully committing war crimes.

@briannawu Don't forget Reagan, with the support of the NRA, signed California's gun control laws, because black people were carrying. Don't for a moment suppose the principles he espoused were principles he actually had. I don't imagine for a moment he'd be out of step with today's GOP on anything.
