Florida ticket wins record $1.58 billion Mega Millions prize

I just don't think that much money should ever be won by a single person. Most of that should go to charity. Give them ten mil.

But, whatever. I bet it ruins--and shortens--their life. That's so much money it'll attract some very dark attention.

If you have any sense, you can't tell anyone you've won, not even your family, because it will get out. You have to find a trustworthy lawyer and accountant, go claim the money with them, set things up, then be wise and cautious. Pay off family mortgages and debts, then hide for awhile so you can figure yourself out. Everyone you've ever met will have a sob story and of course you'd want to help, but at what cost peace? The whole thing would suck as bad as being poor, just in a nicer house.

@Puck @JohnShirley2023 I'm reminded of Tracy Morgan's story about when he found out he'd been added to the SNL cast, he moved out of his neighborhood that very night.
