The article doesn't mention it so it's worth noting that if a metal object gets stuck to the MRI machine, the coil has to be turned off so the object can be removed. Turning an MRI coil off and on again isn't like doing the same with our computers. It may take all day, requiring all the other patients to miss out on their long-awaited MRI's.
