I am a longtime user of Firefox, but I'm being driven to other alternatives by the fact that the PayPal API is seemingly broken in Firefox for iOS for all websites I want to buy things from. I don't have this problem in Chrome or Safari. I've tried enabling pop-ups, disabling privacy extensions, tweaking tracking protections, deleting cookies, but nothing seems to work. Does anyone have advice for this problem?
@AnnemarieBridy I hate to be all "Roy from The IT Crowd", but have you tested a clean Firefox install on a fresh platform?
I've outclevered myself once or twice by breaking things in obscure ways with hacks and plugins, and it turns out to be a trap door: don't know how I made it that way and I don't got time to try everything to put it back.
@pieist I mean, I don’t think there are plug-ins in the iOS Firefox app, are there? I have cross-website tracking disabled at the OS level and strict tracking protection enabled in Firefox. No third-party stuff. Maybe the layers of tracking-blocking are messing things up.
