What are your favorite hyperedited podcasts? I only like when each word has a purpose and they need your full attention. No stream of consciousness or repetitions.
Examples: This American Life, Stuff the British stole, Serial. Counter example: occasionally 99% invisible has interviews that become inane banter - i don't like that.

@lana I’ve also been listening to a lot of this lately. The subjects vary widely, but because there’s a back catalogue of 1,000+ episodes online, it doesn’t really matter if only 10% interest you.

It took me a while to notice that he never uses titles. Nobody is addressed as doctor or professor, or even introduced that way. He introduces them by their name and the position they hold (which might include a title like "professor") and then addresses them by their full names after that. It does a nice job of removing a sense of relative stature or hierarchy among his guests.
