My algorithmic feed (which Twitter defaults to) has now expanded from Musk, Ben Shapiro, Glenn Greenwald (in Portuguese) to *a lot* of Ted Cruz. Social Media algorithms have always favored Republican content, but this is just so overt, so salient, so crappy.

In Twitter's defense: I have been thinking about learning Portuguese for a while, and reading the commentary of a legendary right-wing extremist in his favored tongue may be the incentive to really get that moving forward.
