Today I wish for everyone who has a birth family to find peace and togetherness with their birth family, and everyone else to find welcome and peace and togetherness with a found family.

For me and mine, my later-in-life family are about to set out for as much extended family togetherness as we can stand, and possibly a little more.

I’m thankful for my kid who expected to be in the hospital having surgery today, but is instead recuperating from their surgery at home with their family. Yay!
