Apple is a 10-trick pony. Finally got a car w CarPlay, never getting one without it again. Locked me in like the blue chat bubbles.
When they hit the target, it’s difficult to express in words how incredible it is. CarPlay, AirPods, and so on, it’s like product perfection. Even though they’re not actually perfect. It’s like a whole different category.
I used to describe to people exactly what I wanted, and complain that nobody would sell me one. I would go on in detail about what I wanted. When Apple TV was announced, several people reached out to let me know that I had been heard. In truth, it took until the 4K model to be perfect, in the sense that I described earlier, but it definitely is on the list for me.
The Apple TV+ service is great too, but the UI for it is… not good, IMO.
I cannot imagine choosing life without my Apple Watch, either.
That is a lot of products!
@pwinn yes. I have this “default” thing in my head about “well, the last actually big thing was the iPhone” but that’s just way wrong. AirPods, M1 Macs, CarPlay.... All unbelievable products (even Apple TV+)
