Siri might be the dumbest thing on the planet. I asked to turn on the light, she signed me up to a “free” trial of Apple Music, trying to play me some awful music I didn’t care about.
What kind of predatory behavior is that? Starting a trial *without asking for confirmation*…
Pretty sure my English for “turn on” and “play” doesn’t sound anything alike.

@breadbin My complaints about Siri are nearly-endless, although my plaudits for Siri--a much shorter list--can be intense.
Re: English, it's common in the southern US states to say things like "put on [song]," so I can almost understand flexibility about connecting words.
I'd be alarmed if it signed you up for something that could cost you, for sure!
@pwinn It wouldn’t be strange for me to say something like put on a record. But turn on and put on, not good if it swaps those around. Especially since I often say turn on/off this or that multiple times a day. But I have *never* used Apple Music.
Not exactly brain surgery to connect that up in a model. Nor is it ok to throw people into things without confirmations. That’s just slimy car salesman/telemarketer levels of things.
Not a premium product Apple.
