I have previously written about how broken I think email is, and why email is a bad pattern to use to describe mastodon. BUT, it seems like running an APub server isn't *that* much more complicated than running a mail server, so...

I am waiting for the advent of `@potus@whitehouse.gov`, along with other `@whitehouse.gov` accounts on the official United States federal mastodon (or at least ActivityPub) server.

I mean, they run their own email server, right?
