@freemo @design_RG how are you guys able to post "more than 500 chars" toots? Are you guys on pleroma?
@freemo @design_RG yes, i did. But i heard Mastodon had 500 char limit. And this Fediverse is a strange place for me. So i thought you might have somehow used your pleroma profile to log into qoto instance(i realize this doesn't make any sense while I'm typing this 😂)

@freemo @design_RG so, to be clear - you, as qoto admin, can post unlimited char toots. But the users on qoto still are limited to 500 chars per toot. Am i right?
No, you can make posts as long as you want as well up to 65k limit. You just have to do it from the web interface.

Do you not realize we are on the same instance you are: qoto.org?
It is because we dont run mastodon as-is, I have personally modified the code base in several ways.
